Welcome Baby Chloe!

Recently very good friends of ours welcomed their first child into the world, a beautiful baby girl named Chloe. Being a boy momma, I had an absolute blast making all sorts of girly, frilly and fun things for them as baby gifts. I had just gotten some new fabrics, including this really fresh set of green and bright pink flowers.

I knew this would be perfect, these are the colors of her nursery and they actually named her Chloe because it means "bloom"! After the usual bibs, burp cloths and blanket I decided to try something new and created a infant portrait tutu with matching baby bloomers. This is different from a regular tutu (which I LOVE making!) as it's open and designed to slip onto a sleeping newborn. Making that first portrait even easier.

To capture these special new moments, our friends hired another friend of ours Tina at LiveLovePhotography (any cool pics on the site, Tina took!). She is absolutely amazing and we are so excited to know her. I am proud to say many of my items made into Chloe's pics, you can see their slide show here. Cupcake Crazy!

Okay, I have to admit, I have a new obsession. I am completely in love with cupcakes! You can see the extent of my sweet tooth by all the new fabrics I've recently added to the site. I can't wait to use them, I have so many fun projects planned. Diaper clutches, burp cloths, onesies and I'm even thinking about a cupcake themed tutu.... Yummy! Sprinkles anyone?

I'm a Chicky Bella Chica!

I am so excited to announce that Inky Binky Baby is now being carried locally at Chicky Bella in Gilbert, Arizona. This store is so fabulous! It's full of bright colors (not your typical pink and blue) and celebrates both momma and baby. I fell in love with this store when I was pregnant, giving me inspiration to create my own line of funky baby products. The owner Lisa has an eye for quality and what's fresh right now (so glad I passed her test!). I am so excited that select Inky Binky Baby products are featured in the store including flower beanies, headbands, burp cloths, onesies, bling wipe cases and now tutus (new product alert!)

Fresh Picked!

I just finished a HUGE order for Fresh Picked, an awesome boutique in San Diego (be sure to stop by if you're in the area!). Nanette, the owner, and I have the same taste in fabric so designing for her and the store is an absolute blast! Retro Guitars Gift Set

I am so in love with the new fabric "Boy Guitars" and couldn't wait to use it. Luckily, my sister in law needed a gift set and loved the fabric as much as I do. (You gotta love family for giving you the chance to experiment!) I made a matching set including personalized bib, burp cloth, security blanket and travel wipe case. My husband even loved the wipe case and asked if I'd make one for him!!! This set is awesome for a music lover, and dad's are sure to like it as much as moms. Take a look!

Fresh new fabrics just in time for spring! I recently ordered bunches of new fabrics and they are beginning to arrive. Several of the Hibiscus flowers along with the Orchid Boho Blossom (so amazing, picture doesn't do it justice!) are in.
